Cunningham Swan participated in the Kingston Literacy & Skills 22nd annual Grate Groan-Up Spelling Bee. This is an annual fundraiser for Kingston Literacy & Skills and a very fun event.

The Cunningham Swan team made it to the 4th found but were then foiled by a pair of words, each with double Cs.

Our words: Bleak, Meteoroidal, Inanimate, Malocclusion, and Acclivity.

The winning word was Paca (definition: either of two nocturnal burrowing rodents of South and Central America). Congratulations to the winning team from Queen’s University.
