We are currently searching for an Associate Lawyer to join our General Litigation Group. We’re the advisors of choice for both new and experienced business owners in the Kingston area. Our innovative team provides IP, technology, financing and commercialization advice to entrepreneurs, start-up companies, and businesses in growth mode.
If you have up to three years corporate and commercial law experience, we want to talk to you. The ability to work independently, with strong practice management abilities and excellent interpersonal skills are key for this role. You would be joining an experienced and reputable team of specialized business lawyers in a busy, collegial environment, supported by a strong staff team. Necessary skills include M&A transaction work around the purchase and sale of private corporations, due diligence, contract drafting and negotiations, incorporation and corporate structuring, shareholder agreements and advising shareholders. The successful candidate will be a business-minded individual who looks forward to working with private owners daily.
