David Adams is an experienced litigator focusing on civil and criminal litigation.
Leveraging a strong background in business Dave is litigation counsel to several leading companies in Eastern Ontario. He is a senior litigator in our Litigation Group and has significant experience in a wide range of civil litigation.
In his first ten years, Dave practised almost exclusively in the area of criminal law, starting his career as an assistant crown attorney and then as defence counsel in Ottawa. He has broad experience across the spectrum of criminal charges and has successfully prosecuted and defended many of the most serious charges in the Criminal Code. He continues his tradition of strong advocacy for select clients in defending criminal, quasi criminal and regulatory charges in the trial courts at all levels.
Dave earned an MBA in 2000 and for 5 years held increasingly responsible positions for a major military aerospace and defence contractor. As Director of Pricing at Northrop Grumman (Canada) Dave was responsible for several multi-million dollar military procurement contract negotiations.
Returning to Kingston, his hometown, in 2005, Dave has continued to build his practise and is married and the proud father of two children, enjoying time with his family and being outdoors.
Dave has been an advocate for his entire professional life.
