Lisa Scheulderman is an Associate in our Municipal and Planning Law Group. Lisa provides advice to municipalities in eastern Ontario on a variety of land use planning and development issues and appears before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal and Ontario courts regarding planning and administrative law matters.
Lisa summered, articled and worked at a leading downtown Toronto law firm with a focus on administrative law and other litigation matters before deciding to continue her career in Kingston. Prior to joining Cunningham Swan, Lisa acted as a solicitor in the areas of real estate, wills and estates and corporate law.
Lisa received her JD from Queen’s University in 2015. During law school, Lisa was a peer tutor and an oralist on the first-place team at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Canadian National Rounds.
Lisa completed a Bachelor of Commerce at McGill University and spent several years working in corporate banking at a large Canadian bank before attending law school.
Lisa’s work has been published in the Canadian Competition Law Review and presented at the Annual National Forum on Administrative Law and Practice. She has also been a presenter at the Kingston and the 1000 Islands Legal Conference.
