Sarah is an associate in our Litigation Group. She assists clients on a variety of personal injury matters, insurance disputes, construction liens, contract disputes and professional negligence claims.
Sarah obtained her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University, Faculty of Law, where she was an active member of Pro Bono Students Canada and a caseworker at the Queen’s Law Clinic. She then completed her articles at a law firm in downtown Toronto specializing in personal injury, medical malpractice and commercial litigation. Prior to completing law school, she had summer employment with law firms in both Canada and the United States, which focused primarily in areas of litigation and trial advocacy. Sarah has very happily returned to Kingston to practice law and to join her fiancée Michael, who works at Queen’s University as part of the Canadian Cancer Trials Group.
Sarah has a unique background as part of a Canadian military family and has spent several of her childhood years living abroad in both Germany and the United States. She loves the outdoors, was a Division 1 cross-country and track and field distance runner at Georgia State University, and her current interests include jogging, yoga, and enjoying the beautifully scenic Kingston area. Sarah’s background and commitment to the Kingston community allow her to understand the unique concerns and needs of this area, which she proudly calls home.
