Making Space for Our Community

Posted April 29, 2020 Category: News & Updates

There is no doubt that COVID-19 has had a tremendous impact on our community. It has affected our neighbors, local businesses, and social services. We have seen heartbreaking illness, death, business closures, staff reduction, and separation from our loved ones. The list, unfortunately, could go on for pages. Without diminishing the impact on Kingston, and the rest of the world’s current circumstances, we are choosing to focus on the good. We are choosing to focus on the 1500+ meals delivered by volunteers in our community, the hundreds of masks being made and donated by local businesses, and the change from production of alcohol to that of hand sanitizer for frontline workers. This list too, could go on for pages.

Here at Cunningham Swan, we have made it possible for over 95% of our staff and lawyers to work remotely, doing our part to support social distancing. We have also created a COVID-19 resource page where you can find information on how the pandemic has impacted our community and what options you may have in response.

2nd Floor Expansion

Since January 2020, we have been working diligently alongside Doornekamp Construction to expand our office space beyond the 3rd floor at 27 Princess Street. In the next few weeks, we will have expanded into the 2nd floor, better accommodating our evolving team. We have celebrated over 125 years in the Kingston community and are thrilled to be making space to widen the amount of support we can offer its businesses and residents. We have maintained our standard of excellence since 1894 and will continue to offer a broad range of legal services to individual and corporate clients in the private and public sectors.
