Andrew Bonham is a Partner in the firm’s Business Law and Wills and Estates groups. Soon after attaining his LL.B. from Queen’s University, he attended Osgoode Hall Law School and acquired a Master’s Degree in Taxation Law. With ties in Kingston, he was happy to return to the familiar community to continue his career.
Andrew can advise clients on various tax matters including:
- Taxpayer representation in disputes with Canada Revenue Agency
- Voluntary disclosures (tax amnesty)
- Trust and estate planning
- Business and succession planning
Andrew has taught segments of the Business Law component of the Law Society of Upper Canada Bar Admission Course and is a former sessional lecturer in computer assisted legal research at the Queen’s University Faculty of Law.
He is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and has recently published an article in the prestigious Canadian Tax Journal entitled “FATCA and FBAR Reporting by Individuals: Enforcement Considerations from a Canadian Perspective”
