Joshua Jackson is an Associate in our Litigation group specializing in commercial and corporate litigation.
Josh has experience resolving a broad range of complex matters including disputes amongst shareholders for public and private companies, partnership disputes, contentious bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, receiverships, environmental claims, franchise litigation, investor fraud, real estate litigation, breach of contract and construction disputes. He has acted for a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from individuals, regulated health professionals, court officers, debtors, creditors, small and large businesses, construction companies, universities, and government entities.
Josh is a calm and effective communicator and approaches complex disputes with his clients’ immediate and long-term objectives in mind. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List), administrative tribunals and in arbitration proceedings.
Prior to moving home to Kingston and joining Cunningham Swan, Josh practiced for several years in downtown Toronto. Outside of the office, Josh enjoys spending time playing hockey, golfing, and hanging out with friends at local restaurants and in the Thousand Islands.
