Laura Dowsley is an Associate in our Litigation group.
Laura obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall at York University, and was called to the bar in 2016. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Critical Disability Studies from York University.
Prior to joining Cunningham Swan in 2022, Laura worked for both the provincial and federal governments, including working for the Ontario Attorney General.
Laura is an active and engaged member in the legal professional locally, provincially and nationally. She is a member of the Frontenac Law Association, Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Insurance Law Section, and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Insurance Law Section.

When she is not at work, Laura can be found spending time outdoors exploring the numerous parks and lakes surrounding the Kingston area.
