Mike Brown is a Partner in our Business Law group.
Mike helps clients navigate the complexities of corporate and commercial law by providing tailored advice in a timely manner specific to a client’s needs. He advises clients through all stages of the business life cycle; from startup, through growth and expansion, and upon exit. In particular, Mike advises clients on:
- Corporate reorganizations and structuring
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Purchase and sale of a business
- Business succession planning
- Financing transactions
- Shareholder and partnership agreements
- Family trusts
- Commercial contracts and leases
- Incorporation (including Professional Corporations)
Prior to joining Cunningham Swan, Mike practiced corporate and commercial law at a major international law firm where he gained extensive experience advising clients on a variety of complex corporate and commercial matters.
Before Mike ventured into the legal field, he represented Canada at the 2004 & 2008 Olympic Games in swimming. In his free time, you can find Mike at the lake with family and friends, teaching his children to swim and enjoying the outdoors.
