Spencer Putnam is an Associate in our Municipal group. Spencer summered and articled with the Firm before joining as an Associate in 2020.
Spencer received his J.D. from Queen’s University, where he was named to the Dean’s Honour List and won the Queen’s Law Grand Moot. Spencer served as executive of the Queen’s Law Litigation Society where he organized competitive moots. Prior to law school, Spencer graduated with distinction from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies.
Spencer provides advice to municipalities in Eastern Ontario in the following matters:
- Land use planning
- Litigation
- Provincial Offences prosecutions
When not practicing law, Spencer spends his free time playing rugby with a local club, hiking and learning guitar.
