Tayyaba Saleem is an Associate Lawyer in our Corporate and Business Law group.
Tayyaba comes to Cunningham Swan with in-house corporate counsel experience, having served as Corporate Counsel at Grasshopper Energy, a Canadian renewable energy developer and asset manager, since being called to the Bar in 2023. In that role she acted as lead counsel on corporate transactions including financings and mergers and acquisitions across Canada and the United States, managing due diligence, deal execution, and the drafting and negotiation of transaction documentation. She also advised on a broad range of corporate commercial matters including contract drafting and review, project development, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Tayyaba completed her B.A. (Hons.) at York University before obtaining her J.D. at Osgoode Hall Law School. She joins Cunningham Swan from Brampton and brings a client-side perspective and proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of business to her practice at the firm.
